Bubble Boy Laundry is a laundry pick up and delivery service for Melbourne’s west, run from our own laundromat at G04, 1 Foundry Road, Sunshine VIC 3020. We collect washing from your door, wash, dry and fold it at the shop, and drop it back the next day. Wash & fold is $30 per 5kg, ironing from $3.15 per item, and pick up and drop off is $15 per booking. Prices last checked August 2026.

How does laundry pick up and delivery work?

Book a pickup
Pick a time and tell us roughly how much there is. A rough guess is fine — we weigh it properly at the shop.

Leave it out
Any bag will do — at the door, at the time we agree. Keep ironing in a separate bag so nothing gets pressed that shouldn’t be.

We wash, dry and fold it
At our own shop on Foundry Road — it doesn’t go anywhere else, and it’s the same machines you’d use yourself.

Folded, bagged, back where we picked it up.

Who is laundry pick up and delivery for?
Anyone with a washing pile and no time for it. It suits renters and apartment dwellers in Footscray and Maribyrnong with a small washer and no dryer, families in St Albans and Deer Park sending a week of school uniforms and towels, shift workers who’d rather sleep than sit at a laundromat, and share houses splitting one bag. NDIS participants and older people at home book a weekly collection, often through a support worker, with itemised invoices. Cafés, salons and Airbnb hosts put linen and towels on a standing commercial collection. And plenty of our self-service regulars switch to pick up and drop off the week life gets busy, then switch back.
How much does laundry pick up and delivery cost?
Three numbers cover it. Wash, dry and fold is $30 per 5kg, charged in 5kg bands and rounded up, with detergent, drying and folding included. Ironing is priced per item, from $3.15 for kids’ clothes, so a bag of five shirts costs what five shirts cost. Pick up and drop off is $15 per booking, the same whether you send one band or four. There is no minimum weight and no subscription — you pay the figure we confirm once the bag has been weighed. Prices last checked August 2026. Which suburbs do you pick up from?
We collect across Melbourne’s west from our shop on Foundry Road, Sunshine. Sunshine, Albion and St Albans are our closest runs; Braybrook, Footscray and Deer Park are on the same next-day timetable. Renting, or in an apartment? A bag at the door or in the lobby is all we need.
