Coming in to wash
When are you open?
Every day 6am – 11pm, including weekends and public holidays.
Do I need coins?
No, but you can use them. Every washer and dryer takes coins, and a change machine on site swaps notes for coins. Or pay at the kiosk by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What if I only have cash?
That’s fine. The change machine on site turns notes into coins, and the coins go straight into the washers and dryers. If you’d rather tap, the kiosk takes card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
What does a wash cost?
$6 for a small, $9 for a medium and $12 for an extra large. Dryers are sold by time, from $1. Full list on the self-service pricing page.
Can I wash a doona or blankets?
Yes — that’s what the extra large 14kg washers are for. A queen or king doona goes in on its own for $12, then into an extra large dryer, where a dollar buys six minutes. Shake it out halfway and give it a second burst if the middle still feels damp.

How long does it take?
A wash and a dry back to back is usually around an hour. Wash cycle time depends on how much you load into the machine, so we can’t give a fixed number — the kiosk shows the estimate for your load once you start.
Can I leave my washing and come back?
You can. Machines lock while they run and the shop is on CCTV, but it’s an unattended public laundry, so take anything valuable with you and be back before the cycle ends so nobody is waiting on your machine. We can’t mind loads for you — if you’d rather not wait at all, we’ll collect it instead.
Do you sell detergent?
Yes — sachets are $2 from the vending machine, and there’s a refill station in the shop.
Is there parking?
Parking is available directly outside the laundromat.
How do I get there by public transport?
We’re at G04, 1 Foundry Road, Sunshine VIC 3020. Sunshine station is the closest train station, with buses along Hampshire Road nearby. Open us in Google Maps for live directions from where you are.
Having it collected
Do you offer laundry pick up and delivery?
Yes. We collect from your door across Melbourne’s west, wash, dry and fold it at our own shop in Sunshine, and bring it back the next day. Wash and fold is $30 per 5kg, ironing is priced per item, and pick up and drop off is $15 per booking. How pick up and delivery works.
How much is wash and fold?
$30 per 5kg, charged in bands and rounded up, plus $15 to collect and return. Final price is confirmed when we weigh your load.
How much does a doona cost to wash and fold?
The same as anything else: by weight, in 5kg bands at $30 a band. There’s no separate doona price. A queen doona on its own usually sits inside one band; add towels or sheets to fill it up.
How is ironing charged?
Per item, by garment type — from $3.15 for kids’ clothes up to $14.15 for King bedding. The full list is on the ironing page.
When do I get it back?
The next day. Book before 9:30am for next-day return.
Do I need to be home?
No. Leave the bag somewhere dry by the door, or tell us in the booking where to find it, and we return it to the same spot.

How do I know how much my washing weighs?
You don’t need to. Give us a rough idea when you book — one full basket is about 5kg — and we weigh it properly at the shop.

What if something goes missing?
Lost items are kept for 7 days, then donated to charity.
Do you do commercial volumes?
